-my pagnapagna-
(March 25, 2016 a Good Friday)
After coming from a short hike at a mountain of Bangar, at downtown Bangar I happen to encounter their Good Friday procession around town.
I just stayed in front of the Saint Christopher Church and took some photographs and videos of the procession as it started to leave the church's grounds.
Locally known as "Libot" (procession), this is a Roman Catholic tradition where they pray while walking around town with carrozas (carriages) depicting the passion and death of Jesus Christ. They also hold a lighted candle as they do the "Libot".
This Good Friday late afternoon procession is done after the "Siete Palabras" (Seven last words) mass.
Inside the church, the cross at the altar was still draped with purple cloth.
After the "Libot", I left the church's ground. Even though traffic was at a standstill, I rode a bus going back to Home Sweet Home.
