TUDDINGAN FALLS

"This waterfall forms the shape of an arm and hand with fingers (a single drop that breaks down near its base into smaller rows of cascades)"
-pagnapagna

The best time to visit this waterfall is just after the rainy season... around August to December.

It has less water flowing during summer depending upon how hot the summer is.
A setback of this waterfall, aside from near dry during summer is that when i visited it back then, there were many dangling irrigation black pipeline above it. A question runs in my head - why can't they aesthetically group it and perhaps hide it from view?
Tuddingan Falls is located at Barangay Tuddingan, Naguilian, La Union. Just about 15 minutes tricycle ride from Naguilian town proper which cost around 50 pesos.

This is the waterfalls during summer season. It may also go drier at times to the extent of no-water

And below is  Tuddingan Falls during a rainy day.

How to get there:
From Manila take any bus going to any of these north-western Luzon places namely: Laoag City, Vigan City, Candon City, Abra and La Union, but you have to get down at Bauang, La Union town Plaza then walk your way northwards to Naguilian road (the one at the monument intersecting from the East). Wait for jeeps or mini-bus at the waiting shed some few meters away eastwards near the public Library.
