[Waterfalls #3] Occalong Falls (Ukkalong)

Please practice the leave no trace outdoor ethics when going to these nature places.

Let us not vandalize, put graffiti on their rocks and stone walls. 

Manage and dispose our waste products properly.

Here were some of the photographs taken during my visit to Occalong Falls (Ukkalong) on March 2, 2012.

How to get there:
From Manila take a bus going north - Laoag, Vigan, Candon, or Abra. Stop at Balaoan, La Union Town proper and just beside the Municipal Hall, tricycles bound for Luna, La Union are parked on that roadside. Take that tricycle ride to Luna. At downtown Luna take another tricycle ride going to barangay Cabalitocan until the nearest "drop-off" to the falls  then walk some few meters to the falls. Few tricycles ply this route, so in going back you might take a walk till the welcome arch and wait for tricycles there or ask the driver to fetch you when going back.
