-my pagnapagna-
(May 3, 2019 a Thursday)
My plan was to attend a meeting at 1 o'clock until 2 o'clock in the afternoon then ride a bus going up to Baguio City to catch the 4 o'clock Opening Ceremony of the Art Exhibit at SM City Mall Baguio where I had an entry to the said exhibit. Unfortunately the duration of my meeting went from an hour to about two hours. I arrived at Baguio City around 5 o'clock in the afternoon and at the venue of the art exhibit the emcee said "Thank you for attending the Tam-awan ...... please enjoy drinks until 7 pm". Definitely I was late but nevertheless I was glad I visited the said exhibit.
The art exhibit was conducted by "Tam-awan Village" in line with there "Tam-awan @20" which is the 20th anniversary of their institution/village. This was one of the three other simultaneous multi-venue art exhibits wherein the others were at ArtistSpace in Makati and another one at Tam-awan.

The first day of the three-day celebration
I went up to Baguio City again to attend the first day of Tam-awan Village's 3-day Anniversary celebration.
I was at the area around eleven o'clock in the morning.
At the activity area, there were press people, artists and visitors gathered in front of a panel of important people such as artist Jordan Mang-osan (President of Tam-awan artists), people from the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and others.
After that forum, the group went for the opening of the art exhibit nearby and afterwards lunch was served.
Seen artists from Dagupan (Pangasinan), Baguio City and also seen one from my province La Union at the dining table.
After lunch and there was plenty of spare time, I went for a walk at the Tam-awan's very short eco-trail.
2:30 and the "cultural presentation" started with the musical presentation of the "Basil Elementary School Rondalla" of Tublay, Benguet followed by the cordillera dances by the "Wangal School of Living Traditions" of La Trinidad, Benguet.
Call it a day and I left the area after the the "cultural presentation" ended.
I loved to and very eager to attend the other two days of the celebration where there were other cultural presentations lined-up but I can only attend on the first day.
For now, I have to be back to Home Sweet Home.
