-my pagnapagna-
(February 3, 2018 a Saturday)

In the morning, at around 10 o'clock, we were already at Tam-awan Village in Baguio City. We were having our ingress for our art exhibit.

Cultural dancers of Tam-awan Village

This art exhibit is by the La Union Timpuyog Artes ti Ilocandia which is a newly organized group that had recently turned a year last month, January 2018 in which yours truly is a member.

There were galleries in the Village and one of them is the Ugnayan Gallery located near the Cafe but we were exhibiting at another gallery which is the Village Gallery. It is a well lit enclosed room gallery.

The artists having their lunch

At Tam-awan Village, they had these cultural shows happening featuring their ethnic cordillera dances in their own local costume. The village also showcases the cordillera native houses and products.
It's a culture and arts hub altogether.

A prayer led by artist Julie Ann Nonog.

Jordan Mang-osan is popularly known as a solar artist. He makes paintings through the aid of a magnifying glass, burns surfaces such as wood to make paintings out of the sun's heat. He is also the president of Chanum Foundation Inc. and the Tam-awan Village artists.

Sir Rey Resurreccion of Luna, La Union gave an inspirational talk to the crowd with his stories. An artist and writer himself, he is a descendant of Juan Luna.
