-my pagnapagna-
(April 12, 2017 a Holy Wednesday)

I was at the St. William Cathedral at around few minutes before 7 o'clock in the morning and two "Libreng Sakay" shuttles arrived. This "Libreng Sakay" (Free Ride) is a project of the Sangguniang Panglungsod for the Holy Week (2017). One was a jeepney bound for the northern part of the city (Carlatan and Lingsat area) and driven by Narciso Apilado. The other which was a multi-cab was bound for the southern part of the City (Catbangen/Poro, Parian and Pagdalagan) and driven by Hanibal Sison.

They recommended that I take first the North bound. We waited for other passengers but unfortunately no one came and so, there was only me and the driver for the ride. Our first stop was the Our Lady of Immaculate Conception church then to Saint Louis College's Chapel and eventually at the Nuestra Senora de Salvacion Church. Afterwards, we were back again at the St. William Cathedral where I waited for the South bound multi-cab. The Visita Iglesia took us around an hour.
After some 20 minutes of waiting, the South bound shuttle came. He was with some 5 lady senior citizens on board to visit the Cathedral then off we went to St. Jude Church and afterwards to Pindangan.
At Pindangan, there was a small chapel for praying and we learned that in order to get to the Pindangan ruins, which is now fenced and gated, one must first pay a minimum fee of 20 pesos and if ever for an activity such as a prenuptial photo and video shoot, they must pay a minimum fee of 500 pesos.
Then we went to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Barangay Pagdalagan and afterwards, after an hour, we were back at the City proper (St. William Cathedral area) which concluded my Visita Iglesia 2017.

-end of pagnapagna-
