Dawara Falls is larger and higher than the Sangbay. 
Its rock face wall is rugged making its drop of water burst and scatter sometimes into spray.

 Partially hidden from view is a large pipe at the left side of the falls. I think its water is being tapped for the town's use.

Few meters away along the stream to which it plunges, the waterway is partially obstructed and made shallow by erosion.

Dawara Falls is Located at Barangay Poblacion in Suyo, Ilocos Sur.

How to get there:

1-      From Manila, take a bus going to any of these northern Luzon places such as : Laoag City, Vigan City, Candon City and Abra. All of these passes through Tagudin, Ilocos sur, so get down at BITALAG JUNCTION which is located few minutes away after the Yellow Market (Tagudin’s Public Market).

2-      At Bitalag Junction (Bitalag is a barangay of Tagudin) wait for or look for the tricycles with white and green paint (yellow tricycles are for Tagudin’s). With 25 pesos as fair going to Suyo , Ilocos Sur, you may pay the whole tricycle for 150 pesos for the total passengers of 5. Tell the driver to get you down at Suyo Municipal Hall.

3-      At Downtown Suyo (Municipal hall area) you may Walk going back (going east) on the main road and before reaching the bridge take the rough road going north (your right side when facing east). Ask directions along the way.Where the river branches, take the eastern river (the western leads to "Sangbay"). Keep on following the river bed upstream to the falls.
